Household favourites Junior Gunners and Spurs 70's All Stars completed the line-up of teams making this a special occasion for all at WRP7 TFC. It was a wonderful scene with the floodlights blazing down onto the superb violet playing surface.</div><div align="justify"><br />The opening game saw Bozward Busbys take on the Junior Gunners. This encounter saw the first ever goal at the Violet Meadow – scored by the Busbys – an excellent strike from just inside the area – the young Gunners keeper had no chance! The game finished 1-0 although the result could have gone either way.
